Team Goemkarponn PONDA: Ponda police have registered a case of kidnapping following a complaint lodged by a resident of Ponda, originally from Maharashtra, whose name has been withheld. As per the complaint, the incident occurred on January 17, 2026, at around 9.30 am, when an unknown accused person/s allegedly kidnapped the minor nephew of the complainant from the lawful guardianship at Ponda. Police have registered an offence under relevant sections of law and have initiated an investigation to trace the minor and identify those involved. According to the complaint, the incident occurred on January 18, 2026, at around 10.45 am, at the DVOR area of Varunapuri within the INS Hansa premises.
