VASCO: A beggar was found dead near the Railway Bridge at Baina-Vasco on Thursday morning.
Vasco police received information that a person had been lying dead near the Railway Bridge Baina.
A police team went to the site and during an enquiry, found out that the deceased was a beggar and was begging near the Vasco Railway Station.
The unidentified male was in his mid-forties, about 5.8 feet in height, medium built, wheatish in complexion and was found wearing a brown-coloured half-sleeved shirt with printed design and a blue long track pant.
The body has been sent to the South Goa District Hospital at Margao for identification and
medico-legal formalities. Further investigation is being conducted by Vasco LPSI Priyanka Patil.
