SANCOALE: A 26-year-old postgraduate student of the BITS Pilani Goa campus was found dead after allegedly dying by suicide at a rented flat located behind the institute premises.
The deceased has been identified as Arjun Sabu, a native of Kerala and a second-year PG student at the institute. According to sources, he was found hanging inside the flat on Wednesday.
Police sources said a suspected suicide note was recovered from the spot during the preliminary inquiry. The exact contents of the note have not yet been disclosed.
Police reached the scene after being alerted and initiated an investigation into the incident. Further inquiries are in progress to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death.
