Panaji – Goans expected the BJP Government led by Dr Pramod Sawant to bulldoze the Illegal Bungalow in Old Goa, Unfortunately, the Real Estate Mafia patronised by the BJP allowed by Goa Police to bulldoze a Residential House of a Goan by Kidnapping the Occupants. Will Chief Minister act?, questioned Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
This is an Alarm Bell for Goans who sell their land to outsiders. It will not be too far for these Real Estate and Land Mafias to grab every inch of Goa if we do not learn lessons from these incidents, warned Yuri Alemao.
It is loud and clear that the BJP Government in the last twelve years promoted and patronised the Land and Real Estate Mafia in Goa. BJP leadership is only focussing on making fortunes from Sale of Goa. Goa will lose its total identity if we allow the BJP to continue with their agenda, stated Yuri Alemao.
“I am shocked to learn that the Police Department adopted delay tactics rather than acting swiftly to stop the demolition of the Residential House at Anjuna. It is a matter of serious concern that male family members were kidnapped to facilitate the demolition,” said Yuri Alemao.
“I demand stringent action against all those responsible for this inhuman act. Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant must also act against the Police Officers who are allegedly involved in this matter,” demanded Yuri Alemao.
“I humbly appeal to all fellow Goans to contribute to protecting our tiny Goa. Let us not fight within ourselves and give advantage to outsiders to grab our land. We are answerable to the next generations and it is our duty to save Goa,” Yuri Alemao said.
