DABOLIM: A Bomb Threat Mock Exercise was successfully conducted at Dabolim Airport on Wednesday as part of a routine evaluation of the airport’s contingency and emergency response plans.
The exercise, organized in coordination with all key stakeholders, involved the complete evacuation of the terminal building to simulate a real-life emergency scenario. The drill tested the efficiency and preparedness of airport staff, security agencies, and other emergency response teams in handling a potential bomb threat.
Authorities ensured the exercise was conducted without causing any disruption to passenger services or airport operations. The simulation highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts in addressing emergencies and provided an opportunity for all participants to identify and address potential gaps in the response strategy.
Officials at the airport praised the seamless coordination between stakeholders and emphasized the need for such exercises to enhance safety and security measures.
