BAINA: In a burglary incident reported at Fatima Manzil, Patrong Baina, an unknown accused broke into the office of Samrat Naik, a resident of Baina, Vasco, and stole ₹25,000 in cash.
According to the complaint filed by Naik, the incident occurred between 6:00 PM on 18th January 2025 and 4:00 PM on 19th January 2025. The accused allegedly gained entry into the premises by breaking the shutter lock and decamped with the cash, which was kept in a pouch.
The Vasco police have registered a case under Sections 331(3) and 305(a) of the BNS Act 2023.
The investigation is being handled by PSI Carey Fernandes of Vasco Police Station under the supervision of PI Kapil Nayak and the guidance of Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam.
