PANAJI: Sanjit Rodrigues, CEO of Imagine Panaji Smart City Limited (IPSCDL), and other officials carried out a routine inspection of the Caculo Mall to STP road work.
On June 10th, the entire piece is anticipated to be open. This is a result of the ongoing sewerage projects to install manholes and the main trunk line connecting the Fire Services building to the Tonca STP. The aforementioned pipeline will be installed, continuing to connect to the Tonca STP by crossing St. Inez Creek and traveling alongside the road.
The road from Caculo Mall to the bridge near the Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP), Tonca, is being constructed as part of a smart city project that began on May 14. Sanjit Rodrigues, CEO of Imagine Panaji Smart City Limited (IPSCDL), inspected the work on Tuesday late evening.
The Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Ltd. (IPSCDL) announced on May 27 that a 700 mm diameter HDPE pipe that runs from the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Tonca to the Fire Department ground at St. Inez was successfully drawn using the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) method.
The high court ordered that all smart city construction be finished by May 31st, but according to official reports, because of the recently completed underground sewerage work in this area, which is taking longer than expected, the project is actually expected to be finished on June 10.
