PANAJI: The Government of Goa will organize a series of camps under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) to address critical development gaps in tribal villages. The camps will be held at Bironda Panchayat in Sattari on July 1, at Honda Panchayat in Sattari on July 2, and at Batim Panchayat in Siridao, Tiswadi on July 4, 2025. These camps aim to improve living conditions in tribal areas by focusing on key areas such as safe housing, access to clean drinking water, improved sanitation, better healthcare, quality education, nutrition, reliable electricity including promotion of renewable energy, road and telecom connectivity, and livelihood generation through the convergence of welfare schemes. The initiative is part of the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and aligns with the Viksit Bharat Vision 2047 and the Social Goals of Social Welfare (SGoS), targeting the holistic upliftment of tribal communities in the state.
