CANACONA: South Goa’s Miss Aadya Pankaj Naik Gaunkar, aged 7 won the first prize for the National Level Abacus Competition-2025, organised by Kids Concepts at Bangalore.
Aadya Pankaj Naik Gaunkar, a talented young mind from South Goa, has won the first prize at the National Level Abacus Competition, organized by Kids Concepts in Bangalore.
Demonstrating exceptional mathematical and mental calculation skills, Aadya competed against some of the brightest young participants from across the country. Her outstanding performance in the competition reflects her dedication, hard work, and passion for mental arithmetic.
The competition was so tough that she has to complete 100 sums mentally within just 6 minutes and she did it gracefully.
The event, hosted by Kids Concepts, is one of India’s most prestigious abacus competitions, providing a platform for young learners to showcase their numerical proficiency and cognitive abilities. Aadya’s achievement highlights not only her individual excellence but also the growing talent emerging from South Goa.
Her success has been celebrated by her mentors, family, and well-wishers, who recognize this as a significant milestone in her academic journey.
The National-level Abacus Competition is an offline competition organized by Kids Concepts in Bangalore. The competition is held for students aged 5–13 years to showcase their mental math and abacus skills. The event is open to students from various age groups.
This National-level Abacus Competition in Bangalore was held on 19th January 2025 in virtual offline abacus competition of the year, at Mariyam Nilaya High School, located in the heart of Banaswadi, Bangalore, adds the report.
