VASCO: Cansaulim market complex project may not materialise due to the unavailability of land to build this project in the village.
Cansaulim Sarpanch Frewin Saldhana told media that this market complex project was once pitched by Former BJP minister late Mathany Saldhana who wanted to have a big project housing all types of vendors with cold storage inside the complex.
He further said that MLA Alina Saldhana also did follow up with this project, but the project never happened due to the unavailability of the land.
Such a big project with a good facility is needed, but government agencies such as GSIDC and other big agencies must take up this work since it requires huge funds, which the panchayat don’t have.
Meanwhile, the market shed vendors are also troubled over the lack of toilet, drinking water, and electricity-related issues they are not getting in the existing market shed, which was renovated a few months back.
