Panaji: The Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) is hosting “Chavticho Bazaar” at the Multiplex Courtyard from September 10 to 12, 2026, bringing together Goan artisans, self help groups and local entrepreneurs ahead of the Ganesh festival.
The three day festive market will provide visitors an opportunity to explore and purchase a wide range of products associated with Goa’s traditional Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The initiative aims to provide a platform for local makers and entrepreneurs while highlighting the cultural traditions and craftsmanship connected with the festival.
The stalls at Chavticho Bazaar will feature a variety of festive products, catering to different needs of households preparing for Ganesh Chaturthi. Visitors can find decorative items, makhar, festive delicacies, pooja sahitya and traditional Matoli items, along with other products used during the celebrations.
A special attraction will be the display and sale of Goan musical instruments such as the Ghumat and Shamel, offering visitors a chance to connect with Goa’s rich musical traditions. The bazaar will also feature Ganesh idol jewellery, eco friendly products, fashion and apparel, as well as a range of allied festival products.
The event is being organised under the leadership and guidance of Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and Siolim MLA and ESG Vice Chairperson Delilah Lobo.
With local artisans, self help groups and entrepreneurs participating, Chavticho Bazaar is expected to offer shoppers a convenient destination for traditional and contemporary festive requirements while supporting Goa’s local creative community.
