The Office of the Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Fatorda, Margao has ordered for extension of period of night closure of NH stretch from Santrant Slope to Cortalim junction from 11 pm to 5 am for all vehicular traffic in the section for allowing the work Wing Segment launching of elevated corridor awarded to DBL-MBZ (JV) for Package-III of Zuari Bridge from September 01, 2020 to December 12, 2020.
The Highway traffic shall be diverted from Verna Titan junction on NH-17 and NH-17 B-MES College, Zuari Nagar junction-Airport junction, Dabolim-Chicalim junction (NH 17 A)-Cortalim junction (NH 17 and NH 17 A) and vice versa for Highway traffic in both directions.
Spine/Wing Segment transportation from casting yard to site location shall be permitted in non peak hours during day time too – Non peak hours timing will be from 10 pm to 12 noon and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
