CANACONA: Canacona Municipal Council Palololem ward councillor has has informed the people of Palolem and visitors(Tourists) about the closure of a road for two days to carry out Underground Electricity cable works.
CMC Councillor and ex-Vice Chairperson Laxuman Pagui has informed over social media to the people of his ward no.12 and in public in general including visitors/tourists that the road from Palolem last Bustop to Hotel Oxygen will remain closed for two consecutive days from February 18th (Tuesday) and 19th (Wednesday) for the laying of underground electric cables.
Laxuman alia Bakal has also advised the locals and others to remove all their vehicles on the Monday (17th) night itself as once the work begins on February 18th no one will have access to this road.
Bakal also on behalf of Electricity Department has regretted for the inconvenience that may be caused to the people of his ward and public at large due to closure of road for the digging works to lay underground electric cable. ‘Somes we need to face some inconcenience to bring development and secure better services in future’, stated Bakal.
