SANCOALE: The Goa Panchayat Mahila Shakti Abhiyan, in collaboration with Goencho Bazaar, Yuvraj Singh Foundation, and Matoshree Seva Dham – Arogya Seva Trust, Mumbai, successfully organized a Free Eye Check-up Camp and Breast Screening Camp along with the Felicitation of Mahila Mandal Leaders at Cyclone Center, Zuarinagar.
Adding vibrance to the occasion, a Sunday Pop-up Bazaar was set up to support Self-Help Groups (SHGs), artisans, farmers, and local entrepreneurs, promoting women’s economic empowerment.
The program was graced by Chief Guest Mauvin Godhino, Minister for Panchayat, Transport, Industries, and Protocol, notable dignitaries included Nelly Rodrigues (Administrator – GPMSA), Diksha Kanolkar (President – GPMSA & ZP Member – Tivi), Adv. Anita Thorat (South District President – GPMSA & ZP Member – Sancoale), and Sanjeev Naik (Chief Coordinator – Goencho Bazaar).
Speaking at the event minister Mauvin Godhino emphasized the importance of women’s health and economic independence.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and sponsors for making the event a resounding success.
