CANACONA: Akhil Komarpanth Sangh and Henjyanayak Abhiman Balag and Community Well-wishers organised in association with Henjyanayak family members the 290th Janmothsav of Chakmakjang Veer Henjyanayak recently at Kodibag Karwar.
At the beginning pooja rituals were conducted and President Shri Maruthi R Naik garlanded the statue of Henjyanayak followed by various other leaders present on the occasion.
Chatrapathi Mhalshikar Secretary delivered a welcome address followed by Surendra V Naik President of the complex spoke on the occasion, stressing the needs of youths essentiality to build the nation. In the modern world, a peaceful mission is the need of the hour. President thanked the government for its support to our action by naming the Kodibag Street/Road as Henjyanayak Street and people are requested to constantly remember the patriotic deeds to save our soil by sacrificing his children. It’s remembered forever. Henjyanayak is remembered forever.
Jayanand Ramadas Metri family members recalled the whole story in brief which was appreciated by the gathered members. Further he insisted on constituting Henjyanayaksena to carry out his principles in general and come out to help the needy too. Youths need to join the army,police and people spontaneously agree to do so.
Thulsidas Vittal Naik and Prashanth Gopalkrishna Naik were felicitated by President Maruthi Naik and his team. Their contribution to society is appreciated by the community. Devidas Naik proposed a vote of thanks, thanking each and everyone who sincerely supported the development of Henjyanayat Smarak. Exercise Books and Pens were distributed to nearby primary schools Devidas and Mrs Divya Fly.
Thereafter in the presence of Karwar MLA Satish Sail first year naming ceremony conducted at Karwar Circle. Many others were also present.
Later in the Municipal garden in the presence of MLA Satish Sail and President of Municipality Raviraj Ankolekar and Municipal commissioner Jagadish Huligajje along with President Maruthi Naik & Henjyanayak Balag Adhyaksha, Raghu Naik and Upadyaksha Dr Gajendra Naik, celebrated the Janmothsav. Bouquets were presented to VIPs. Pooja was conducted and prasad were distributed.
