PANAJI: The college admission portal of the Higher Education Dept for general degree admissions went live today. The portal will be open for student admissions till midnight on June 5.
Students will have to register on the portal https://dhegoaerp.unifyed.com/GOA_ADMISSION/login first and then apply for any course and college of choice.
Students interested in applying for multiple degree programs will have to apply separately for each of the categories.
Students will have to apply, giving their preference for programmes. The seats will then be allotted accordingly, keeping in mind the students’ marks and their preference for the institute and programme. The student will then have to go to the allotted college to complete the admission process.
The centralized admission portal is https://dhe.goa.gov.in/resource/getPage/ugadmissions. The portal also displays a list of councillors from colleges across Goa ( https://dhe.goa.gov.in/resource/getDocument/pdf%20%200%20977/ ) who the students can connect with for queries related to admissions, especially in view of the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 at the Higher Education level from this year onwards.
The degree programs are categorised as – (1) general government and aided courses such as BA, B.Com., B.Sc., BPA, BPAT, B.SC Home Science (2) BBA, BCA, IMCom, B.Sc Biotechnology, B. A Mass Communication & Journalism, (3) integrated B.A.LLB programme (5 years) (4) integrated B.A.B.Ed. Programme (4) integrated B.Sc.B.Ed. programme (6) B.Voc., B.Sc.Agriculture and Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM) programmes (7) post-graduate programmes PGDT/PGDCA (8) Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) programme.
