PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the state government has written to the centre to allow charter flights to Goa for which the permission is expected in the next few days.
“We will get permission to start the charter flights to Goa, we have already written to the centre to allow special flights. I am sure tourists will be confident to visit Goa once state is fully vaccinated by October 31,” said CM speaking to reporters after a function
He further said that government want to announce that we are a 100 percent safe vaccinated state, then national and international tourists will come here.
“Goa is the safest tourism destination; Also we are coming up with a Convention Center with 300 rooms at Dona Paula which will be completed in next 5 years,” he said
Speaking on schools, CM Sawant said that once expert committee gives their suggestion regarding restarting of schools, Goa govt will take the decision in this regards.

CM Sawant said that the economy needs to be revived, it should start. It is not just the casino industry, but the hotel industry too.
