PANAJI: In a move aimed at strengthening its grassroots presence, the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) on Friday announced the appointment of five new Block Presidents for North Goa.
The appointments were approved by the GPCC President as part of the party’s broader organizational restructuring initiative.
According to a press release issued by the GPCC, this step is intended to energize the party’s base and enhance its outreach at the block level.
“We extend our best wishes to the newly appointed Block Presidents. We are confident they will uphold the values of the Indian National Congress and work tirelessly to serve the people,” the statement read.
The GPCC reiterated its commitment to building a robust and people-centric political organization across the state.
