PANAJI: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar has said that the Congress is ready to take on corruption in Goa and provide a strong alternative to the people of the state.
Alleging that Goa is witnessing exploitation in the name of development, scams in the name of employment and widespread corruption, Chodankar said the party is preparing to build a people’s government.
He asserted that Congress would field only those candidates who do not succumb to the lure of money and power and remain committed to serving the people.
Chodankar said the party’s focus is on strengthening its organisation and presenting a credible alternative ahead of future elections in Goa.
