VASCO: MMC Councillor and Journalist Sudesh Bhosle joined the BJP in the presence of CM Dr Pramod Sawant and Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated that the re-induction of Mormugao municipal councillor Sudesh Bhosle in BJP has created a strong base for South Goa BJP MP candidate Pallavi Dempo in the Dabolim constituency.
Chief Minister Sawant was addressing a largely attended public meeting in support of BJP South Goa MP candidate Dempo at New Vaddem. The Transport and Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho, Dabolim BJP president Sandeep Sood, Chicalim sarpanch Kamla Prasad Yadav, deputy sarpanch Aishwarya Korgaonkar besides several other party leaders were present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Sawant re-inducted Bhosle in the BJP by offering a party muffler/scarf and bouquet of flowers in the presence of Transport and Industries Minister Godinho.
Chief Minister stated that “BJP has brought a revolution in the country and has completed several developmental and infrastructure works during the less than ten years under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Apart from developmental and infrastructure works, several welfare schemes have been launched by BJP government at both centre and state.”
He maintained that the BJP government at the centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed lots of developmental and infrastructure works/projects in the country in less than ten years, which the opposition has failed to do in the last five to six decades.
He was confident of winning both the seats in North and South Goa districts by BJP candidates with a thumping majority of votes. He called upon the people not to fall prey to oppositions who are trying to mislead and divide on communalism.
Minister for Transport and Industries Godinho while addressing the gathering has stated that “People have lots of confidence for winning BJP candidates in South Goa district.
The double engine government of BJP has done lots of developments, both at the centre and the state, which enabled the party to win over 400 seats in the ensuing Lok Sabha polls.” He praised Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Sawant for their bold decisions in their respective tenures both at the centre and the state.
