PANAJI: The Disciplinary Committee of the Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP), headed by Pravin Harlankar, waited until late night for party leader Ajay Kholkar to appear before it in connection with disciplinary proceedings related to the suspension of ten RGP members.
According to the committee, Kholkar had been issued a notice directing him to appear before the panel, submit relevant records and provide evidence in the matter. However, despite being given sufficient opportunity, he did not appear before the committee or submit the documents sought.
The committee has taken note of his absence and stated that further proceedings will continue in accordance with the provisions of the RGP Constitution and principles of natural justice.
The disciplinary panel will now decide the next course of action in the matter as per the party’s internal procedures.
