Mamata ji or Banner ji, if you want to win elections in Goa, win people’s hearts. Goa is a peace-loving State, and the cartoon clearly indicates what kind of vindictive politics the Trinamool wants to play in the State.
You may have your differences with Amit Shah, Prime Minister Modi, and you are free to settle your scores in West Bengal or Delhi. Please do not use such tactics in Goa or insult our elected representatives. They are elected people and are sitting on Constitutional posts. Your cartoon is an insult to the Indian Constitution.
By the way, who gave you the right to insult them? Mind you, they are elected by the people of Goa and the country.
Agreed, Goans have issues with politicians, CM and government, but we will sort it out lawfully by exercising our franchising and not crushing people.

On Sunday, a shocking cartoon depicted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee crushing Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Home Minister Amit Shah under her slippers.
After an outrage on social media, the cartoon was withdrawn from TMC’s Twitter handle Goenchi Navi Sakal, but the picture went viral like a wildfire, with citizens and leaders across the party lines condemning the TMC post.
The cartoon, which showed PM, HM and CM under Mamata’s slippers, also said, “HATERS BEWARE, SHE IS COMING”.
Now the question that arises is whether they meant that Mamata “Banner” ji is coming to Goa to crush people?
We call her “Banner” ji, simply because we have seen several of her banners throughout the State, and maybe she or Prashant Kishor’s I-PAC believes that banners win you elections.

Only because Goa is a peaceful State, there has been no reaction from the BJP or the voters.
Imagine a similar cartoon with Amit Shah or Modi or Sawant crushing you under the slippers. Hell would break down by now; TMC supporters would have started butchering people. Isn’t it? Or the liberals would have been on Twitter-spree for insulting a woman and a chief minister.
Whoever has done it or withdrawn it, Goa wants an apology from you, “Banner” Ji. You and Prashant Kishor both. Such cruel politics has no place in our tiny State where people of every religion love each other, help each other and stay together. Even teh politicians across the party lines don’t hold such a personal grudge.
Such kind of politics may be common in West Bengal, but Goa is different. Before you and Prashant Kishore ventured into Goa, you should have first studied the political dynamics of Goa.
Goa is part of India, and as per our Constitution, every political party has a right to contest anywhere in the country. Considering the above, we welcome you, but please follow the law of the land. Lawlessness may be common in Bengal but not in Goa. We welcome everyone simply because we are a tourist State. In 2007 and 2014 your party came here as tourists, so again in 2021-22 please enjoy the hospitality and return back peacefully.
The violence by the non-Goans is the sole reason why Goans have started hating them and not for anything else. In 80 per cent of crimes, including rapes, thefts, robberies and murders, migrants or non-Goans are involved.
If you want to win elections in Goa, please ask your team to behave themselves.
