PANAJI: Former Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) president and founding member Manoj Parab has alleged that a “mega plan” was carried out to weaken and destroy the party, urging its supporters to reflect on what he described as a deliberate conspiracy against RGP.
In a strongly worded message, Parab alleged that the plan was designed to manipulate Catholic members and voters and claimed that a Hindu–Christian “divide-and-rule” strategy was also used. He further referred to individuals whom he accused of influencing RGP supporters, including an RGP-associated person who, he alleged, travelled to the UK for this purpose.
Parab did not provide evidence to substantiate these allegations in his message.
He said the alleged developments had undermined the sacrifices and hard work of RGP’s “selfless revolutionaries” and urged supporters to “think” and “be alert” about what he described as attempts to weaken the party.
“God will do justice. The Universe will do the needful,” Parab said.
In a separate reflection accompanying his message, Parab urged people to question conventional, materialistic definitions of success, saying that breaking away from such thinking could lead to a more conscious way of living and greater peace.
