PANAJI: DMG has postponed the e-auction of already extracted ore lying on jetties or within the erstwhile mining leases from the scheduled dates of May 8 to 10 to May 16 to 18,2023.
The dept has also issued an order yesterday, May 8 permitting the screening and crushing at the primary location of e-auction subject to necessary approvals to facilitate ‘Ease of Doing Business’ Goa government has put up about 1 million tonnes of iron ore for the e-auction.
This is the 28th e-auction which will take place on the platform of MSTC (earlier called Metal Scrap Trade Corporation, a central public sector undertaking). The iron ore will be auctioned on the as-is-where-is basis.
