BONDLA: Forest Department has said that it was looking at adjacent area farmers to take up work of supplying farm produce like green fodder,seasonal fruits for Bondla Zoological park under Atmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa.
The orientation camp got good response and 35 farmers from village panchayat Guleli, Bhironda, Khotode, participated in one day camp.
The Farmers were oriented through various talks by resource persons namely Dr Rama Porob VO Usgao who highlighted various schemes for fodder cultivation for farmers and also spoke about preventive protocol in control diseases.
Further a session was organised on orienting farmers about whole concept and also stressed on mitigation of man animal conflict while answering queries of farmer.
The farmers were also exposed to Apiculture and taking up beekeeping,the programme ended with trip around zoo for farmers.
