A fisherman was evacuated from sea by an advanced light helicopter (ALH) of INAS 323 squadron, INS Hansa, Goa, on 28 Oct 21. An input regarding the fisherman experiencing acute chest pain while fishing about 50 nm southwest of Goa was received around 1245 h. The casaulty was airlifted by an ALH in the presence of a naval medical officer and brought to INS Hansa by 1420 h. He was transferred to sub-district hospital at Chicalim after priliminary management for further treatment. His present condition is reported to be stable.
