FATORDA: Goa Forward Party President and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai today that BJP Goa must learn from Late Manohar Parrikar to always put Goa first and not Karnataka.
“I always remember Manohar Parrikar as a chief minister who adopted, without hesitation, our principle of Goemkarponn in public policy and governance,” said Sardesai.
He further said that Parrikar was a Goemkar to the end, and the current BJP Goa must learn that he always put Goa, not Karnataka, first.
Vijai said that the collective incompetence of Pramod Sawant and the Goa government is exposed again.
“Now by Goa CM’s own advisor! I’d repeatedly pointed out that glitzy events and hot air by ministers can’t substitute for clear vision, leadership, and hard work,” he added.
Claiming that the State government was well aware of the Project Feasibility Report (PFR) and Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the Kalasa-Bhandura projects by Karnataka, Sardesai had accused the government of trying to silence the ‘Save Mhadei, Save Goa movement’.
‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi staged a road show in Belgaum but didn’t utter a single word on Mhadei. But Home Minister Amit Shah had also exposed our Chief Minister when he said the central government issued DPR to Karnataka after taking Goa’s Chief Minister into confidence.”
