PANAJI: The Forca Goa Foundation and Delta Corp CSR unveiled a collaborative effort – a sports pitch at St. Anthony’s High School. This marks the third facility inaugurated by the two organizations, with an aim to enhance community engagement and sporting infrastructure in Goa, the company said.
The launch ceremony was attended by guests, including the Honourable Minister for Sports, Arts & Culture, Govind Gaude. Minister Gaude highlighted that the project aligns with “the broader vision of fostering a conducive environment for budding athletes.”
Earlier this year, the Forca Goa Foundation, with the support of Delta Corp, introduced two pitches in Guirim. The latest addition at Monte de Guirim School extends the reach of the Foundation’s ‘Fields of Dreams’ project, dedicated to delivering sports facilities to communities across Goa.
Mr. Akshay Tandon, Founder of Forca Goa Foundation, expressed his gratitude, stating, “Today’s inauguration represents a crucial step in our ongoing efforts to break barriers and make quality football infrastructure accessible to all. We are particularly proud of the positive impact this Fields of Dreams project has had on over 1500 students at Monte de Guirim, transforming their experience in sports and contributing to remarkable successes, especially in hockey. The school’s U-17 girls’ team, supported by the Foundation, proudly represented Goa at the national level.”

The Forca Goa Foundation intends to continue investing in expanding the footprint of pitches across Goa. They intend to go beyond mere infrastructure development, focusing on sporting culture.
Founded in 1990 as a textiles and real estate consulting firm, Delta Corp Limited now spans industries such as online gambling, casino gaming, hospitality, and real estate.
The company also operates ventures like ‘Deltin Suites’ – a casino-hotel in Goa, and ‘The Deltin’ – hotel and integrated resort in Daman along with ‘Adda52.com‘ – an online poker site, and ‘Adda52rummy.com’ – an online rummy platform.
The company release stated that the Forca Goa Foundation focuses on grassroots development, community engagement, and promoting a culture of health and well-being among the youth. It also stated that the collaboration between Forca Goa Foundation and Delta Corp is a reflection of their corporate responsibility efforts and the importance of investing in community sports for a brighter and healthier future for the youth of Goa.
