VASCO: A brief health scare involving Chicalim Parish Priest Fr. Bolmax Fidelis Pereira triggered concern at the Vasco railway station on Saturday after he reportedly collapsed before boarding a train for a picnic outing.
Fr. Bolmax was part of a group of nearly 60 people scheduled to travel on the Vasco-Kulem train when he suddenly felt uneasy while still at the station premises.
Reacting swiftly, Roman Vaz, who was accompanying the group, shifted the priest to a private hospital in Vasco for immediate medical attention.
After a preliminary examination, doctors advised that he be taken to Goa Medical College for detailed evaluation and further tests.
Sources informed that all medical reports later returned normal, and doctors confirmed that there was no serious health issue.
