PERNEM: Pernem Police have arrested three accused persons for committing theft of mobile phones.
As per PI Jivba Dalvi in July 2021, an FIR was registered against unknown persons for committing theft of 02 mobile phones of Siddhesh Khorjuvekar R/o Chapora, Bardez Goa, by smashing the windshield of his car.
Accordingly, during an investigation, no clue came forth for the last 03 months; however, upon carrying out electronic surveillance and gathering intelligence, Pernem Police finally managed to nab 03 accused persons today I.e on 26 /10/2021. Sankesh Laxman Chodankar R/o Calangute, Phurbu Ringi Singe R/o Calangute N/o Nepal and Mohan Lal Bahadur Thapa R/o Candolim N/o Nepal and recovered both mobile phones worth Rs. 1,30,000/-.
Accused Sankesh Chodankar was earlier arrested twice by Pernem Police in theft cases. Further investigation is in progress.
