MOPA: A 36-year-old German national has been arrested by the Mopa Police for allegedly attempting to use a GPS device to board a domestic flight.
Authorities claim that Niels Erik Weber Stroher, who lives at Gruberstrasse 12, Darmstadt 64289. He was apprehended while attempting to board an aircraft from Manohar International Airport in Mopa to Hyderabad.
The item, which is illegal in India, was allegedly found in Niels’ handbag during screening. The offender was unable to present any license or approval from the appropriate authority when questioned by police.
LPSI Sashanka Parab of the Mopa Airport Police Station has filed a formal complaint and is currently investigating the case.
