GGEA calls on the family of Electricity Line Helper, electrocuted while performing duty

CANACONA: The Executive members of Goa Government Employees Association (GGEA) paid an condolence visit to the family of Electricity Department’s Line –Helper late Uday Naik at Keri-Pernem on Sunday.

GGEA president Prashant Devidas, assured the family of extending all the support in respects of doing government formalities concerned.

Late Uday Naik, a Line Helper with the Electricity Department while performing duty at Newwada-Morjim met with a fatal accident and succumbed on 12th March’23. Naik got electrocuted while checking a meter box while attending to a short-circuit complaint of a resort at Newwada-Morjim.

The visiting GGEA executive committee consists of Vice-President Pandurang Gawas, General Secretary Sameer Nagvekar, Treasurer Abhay Mandrekar and Executive Member Dinesh Narvekar
