Panaji: The Goa Basketball Association (GBA) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, November 22, 2026, at 10.30 am at the International Centre, Dona Paula, Panaji.
All affiliated members of the association have been invited to attend the meeting, which will discuss several important administrative and organisational matters concerning the development and functioning of basketball in Goa.
The agenda includes confirmation of the minutes of the previous AGM, presentation of the Annual Report for 2025-2026, approval of the audited statement of accounts and the annual budget for 2026-2027.
Members will also deliberate on the appointment of an auditor, formation of various sub-committees and approval of the forthcoming calendar of events and activities.
Other key matters scheduled for discussion include the affiliation of new member units, disaffiliation of inactive member units and online registration procedures. Additional matters may also be taken up with the permission of the Chair.
Members wishing to raise any special business during the AGM have been requested to submit their proposals in writing to the Honorary Secretary at goabasketballassociation@gmail.com.
All such proposals must reach the association at least 14 days before the scheduled meeting, in accordance with the association’s constitution.
