CURCHOREM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today hinted at possible cabinet to former minister Nilesh Cabral in the near future.
“Nilesh is my good friend. Whenever there was a need he has sacrificed for the party. He was even ready to leave his sit if the party said,” said Sawant.
He further said that Nilesh not being a minister today doesn’t mean he will not be a minister in the future.
“You people don’t have to worry about anything. He will be a minister again,” he added.
Public Works Department Minister Nilesh Cabral had resigned from the Cabinet to make way for Alexio Sequeira, one of the eight Congress MLAs who defected to the Bharatiya Janata Party in September 2022.
Representing the Curchorem constituency in South Goa, Cabral also held the law and judiciary, environment and climate change and legislative affairs portfolios in the state.
