PANAJI: Following a rise in COVID19 cases in State, the Directorate of Health Services, Panaji of the State of Goa, has appealed to the people of Goa regarding adherence to respiratory and hand hygiene in view of the COVID 19 surge.
Avoiding overcrowded and poorly ventilated settings, particularly by co-morbid persons and the elderly.
Test at your nearest health centre for flue-like symptoms, especially elderly and co-morbid patients. Self-isolated for 7 days if COVID-19 positive.
Wearing marks in crowded and closed settings. Using a handkerchief/tissue to cover the nose and mouth while sneezing or coughing. Maintain hand hygiene/frequent washing of hands and avoid spitting in public places.
