Prof. Babaji Sawant, a senior teacher of Damodar Higher Scondary School, Margao, who is the president of Madgaon Schools Group Co-operative Society was speaking as the chief guest at the Shri Nirankar School Tudal group’s annual prize distribution and friendship meet. Sawant said said that if the foundation of education is strong, then the development of the village become easy, infact Education is foundatioin stone of Development, which we can see as an example of how the development of the villages is increasing day by day.’
In last year’s school examination, nine students from nineteen schools of Canacona taluka passed with more than ninety percent marks and among them two students were from tribal community in Tudal school. Prashant Naik, president of the Shri Nirakar Education Society asserted that there is a problem in running the schools wih highest standards.
Zilla Panchayat Member of Paiguinim Constituency Shobhana Velip congratulated the teachers for the excellent result of the school and for their outstanding performance in cultural and sports fields.
Principal Tukaram Velip during introduction welcomed the guests. Sanjay Naik, Movina Pinto and Siddhi Paldesai read the annual report of Tudal School.
The program was moderated by Dipesh Velip, Priyanka Gayak, Supriya Devidas and Pallash Velip. The school group report was presented by Mohini Prabhu. President of the Parents Teacher Association Umesh Gaonkar expressed his thanks.
