PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today said that the state’s first hemodialysis facility at Goa Medical College (GMC) currently conducts about 1650 dialysis sessions each month.
“Over the years, the Department of Nephrology has offered comprehensive care, dialysis, kidney transplants, and patient care. At GMC, the state’s first hemodialysis facility was built, which currently conducts about 1650 dialysis sessions each month,” said Rane.
He further said that to ensure our people receive the greatest healthcare possible, we are doing everything in our power to keep an eye on the rapidly advancing fields of technology and medicine.
“Let’s concentrate on Kidney Health for All this WorldKidneyDay,” he added.
Rane said that his department will boost our efforts to raise awareness about the medicines available to Jan Aushadi.
“As announced earlier, space will be made available in District Hospitals, CHCs and PHCs for Jan Aushadhi Kendras, along with a counter at all the pharmacies across the state of Goa,” he added.
