PANAJI: The State Level Goa Revolution Day will be celebrated on June 18, 2024 at the Martyr’s Memorial at Azad Maidan, Panaji at 08.45 am. Governor of Goa, Shri P.S Sreedharan Pillai, Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant, Speaker, of the Goa Legislative Assembly, Shri Ramesh Tawadkar, Cabinet Ministers, Leader of Opposition, Shri Yuri Alemao, and Freedom Fighters and other dignitaries will attend the function and place wreaths at the Martyr’s Memorial and offer tributes.
Choir group from Bal Bhavan will sing patriotic songs.
As in the previous years, the Goa Revolution Day will also be celebrated at taluka and District level. To mark the celebration, the Goa Revolution Day function at Margao will be held at Lohia Maidan at 08.30 am. Minister for Legislative Affairs, Environment, Law and Judiciary, Shri. Aleixo Sequeira will be the Chief Guest.
The Goa Revolution Day function at Ponda will be held at Kranti Maidan where Minister for Agriculture, Handicrafts, Textile and Coir, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Shri. Ravi Naik will be the chief guest.
