PANAJI: The Goa State AIDS Control Society and Directorate of Health Services have been commended by Health Minister Vishwajit Rane for ranking first on the NACO scorecard for April–June 2024.
“My sincere congrats to GSACS and the Directorate of Health Services for attaining the top spot on the NACO scorecard for April–June 2024,” Rane said on social media.
This is a moment of pride for Goa and demonstrates the high caliber of public health in our state. Outstanding performance in important areas such as HIV testing, maternal HIV and syphilis screening, STI/RTI reporting, HRG coverage, EID testing, and viral load monitoring is reflected in the rating, he added.
According to Rane, the outstanding leadership and vision of DHS, along with the hard work of ICTCs, ART Centers, STI/RTI Clinics, and NGOs, have made this success possible.
He went on to say, “We congratulate and applaud the entire GSACS and @DHS_Goa team for their unwavering dedication and hard work that has brought this remarkable recognition to Goa.”
