PANJIM: Goa has topped in terms of the highest Covid-19 tests carried out so far at 94,773 tests per million as on August 11, while Delhi comes second but far below Goa as it has so far recorded 65,397 tests per million.
The number of tests per million in some other states are Andaman Islands 57,314, Tripura 44,913, Jammu and Kashmir (UT) 42,208, and Tamil Nadu 41,178.
With six deaths, four hundred and fifteen new cases on a single day today, Goa has grappled to control the COVID19 situation in the State.
There were also 272 recoveries, which took the active cases to 2878. So far 86 people have lost their lives.
The State has 9444 confirmed cases and 6480 recovered cases.
Out of 3320 Samples tested on Tuesday, 2036 are negative, 415 are positive and 869 reports are awaited.
