Panaji: Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho said that he will write to the Union Ministry of Transport to keep the new Motor Vehicle Act under abeyance for a period of 1 year.
“I have received a proposal from BJP state chief to keep the new Motor Vehicle Act under abeyance,” said Godinho
BJP President Sadanand Tanavade had requested Godinho and Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant to keep the act under abeyance due to steep fines which will be impossible for common man during the pandemic.
