CANACONA: In a unique and for the first time, the Special Children of Lok Vishwas Prathisthan, Mokhard-Bhatpal’ Basaar Day’ received an overwhelming response on Wednesday.
According to the school management, The Bazaar Day was organized for the first time by the Special Children’s school. Interestingly, most children with high abnormalities had set up different stalls with the help of teachers. Various items made by these children at the vocational time in the school, Chart works and Soft Drink stalls, different games and other items made with the help of the Parents were kept for sale at the bazaar day.
Vivek Naik Gaonkar, a businessman from Khalwade Sristhal, inaugurated the market day by cutting the ribbon with professional and social activist Satish Gosavi.
Many people including locals and social activists visited the Bazaar day, and made purchases, to boost the morale of the special children.
Mahendra Phaldesai, Lok Vishwas Prathisthan Local Advisory Committee member, welcomed while Principal More introduced. Benefactors and social activists Pankaj Naik Gaonkar, Sunil Painginkar and Vinay Tubki were present on this occasion. Shirish Pai moderated while teacher Aditi Phaldesai gave the vote of thanks.
As a special gesture, Parents and Students of Nirakar Vidyalaya, Maxem and S S Angle Higher Secondary School, Maxem, along with various persons, paid a visit at this Bazaar Day at Mokhard-Bhatpal.
