Governor Pillai to disburse financial aide 71 old-age homes, orphanages & other such institutions
PANAJI: Secretary to Governor of Goa, Mihir Vardhan IAS today said that Governor P.S. Sreedharan Pillai will disburse the financial aid for 71 old-age homes, orphanages and other such institutions tomorrow.
“Tomorrow, Governor of Goa P.S. Sreedharan Pillai will disburse the financial aid for 71 old-age homes, orphanages and other such institutions tomorrow. He will also visit some institutions,” said Vardhan.
He further said that Governor will also plant a sapling of Jack fruit at the Raj Bhavan on October 12. The said sapling has been imported from Vietnam under the Green World Clean World Programme.
On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, the Governor announced financial aid for 71 old-age homes, orphanages, and other such institutions. Further, the Governor declared that 71 persons would receive financial assistance from Raj Bhavan for dialysis treatment from Governor’s Discretionary Fund.
Interested persons/institutions were told to apply with all personal details/activities of the institution on or before September 30, and In case of dialysis treatment, the hospital where the patient is undergoing treatment should be mentioned.
