PANAJI: Goa Police have stepped up vigilance and continuous night patrolling across North Goa to ensure the safety and security of residents and visitors.
Dedicated police personnel are being deployed at critical checkpoints, nakabandis and major thoroughfares throughout the night as part of enhanced security measures.
Police visibility has also been increased around key tourist areas, casinos and important transit routes to deter criminal activity and respond promptly to incidents.
As part of the night security arrangements, police teams are conducting regular inspections and vehicle checks in different areas. The measures are aimed at strengthening surveillance and ensuring that both locals and tourists remain protected during night hours.
The ongoing patrolling and checking drive is intended to maintain a strong police presence across North Goa and enhance public confidence in round-the-clock security arrangements.
