PANAJI: The Controller, Legal Metrology has notified designated centres for the calibration of all vehicle tanks registered with the Transport Authorities in various talukas of Goa.
Vehicle tanks registered with the Transport Authorities of Pernem, Bardez, Bicholim and Tiswadi talukas in North Goa will be calibrated at the Office of the Inspector, Legal Metrology, Mapusa-I, Dattawadi, Mapusa.
Similarly, vehicle tanks registered with the Transport Authorities of Ponda, Salcete and Mormugao talukas, along with Quepem, Canacona and Dharbandora talukas under Kushavati District, will be calibrated at the Office of the Inspector, Legal Metrology, Margao-I, opposite the Railway Station, Margao.
The notification specifies the designated calibration centres for vehicle tanks based on their registration under the respective Transport Authorities.
