The State government will grant extension for applications for constructing home toilets under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF).
The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant with NABARD team and officials of State Government to review existing projects as well as to undertake new projects under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) in agriculture and related sector, social sector and rural connectivity.
Chief Minister Sawant said that Panchayats so far have received 18990 applications for home toilets to be built under RIDF.
“I have further asked the Director Panchayat to allow a few days for the people to submit applications, who have earlier failed to apply,” he said.
