PANAJI: In a bid to ensure that every beneficiary is administered vaccine, the State government has decided to launch Mobile Van vaccination facility for persons with disability and those bed ridden.
Interacting with the panchayat members, the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that the mobile van vaccination drive will be launched in next 15 days.
He has urged the local bodies to identify such beneficiaries and to prepare their list.
Further, Sawant slammed the critics stating that it is easy to blame him and his government, without understanding the ground reality.
He said that such a pandemic had never hit Goa before and that it is a global crisis. He urged opposition as well as local body representatives to support government in its fight against covid.
CM Sawant during the meeting also stressed on their active involvement to promote and facilitate vaccination drive for 45+ age group in their areas.
He also asked them to monitor home isolated patients & assist Govt authorities in enforcement of Curfew.
“All health centres at this moment will start giving kits to all those who come for testing. It doesn’t matter whether report is positive or negative, kits to be given to all,” he said
“With this people who get tested will not come our for any medication and kits,” he added
