VASCO: The International Women’s Day celebration was organised by JaiTara Nari Welfare Trust at Sada and saw the participation of BJP President Sadanand Shet Tanavade, BJP Mahila Morcha Prabhari Sulakshana Sawant , Minister Shubhash Shirodkar, MLA Kedar Naik and others.
Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar speaking to media later assured thumping majority for the South Goa BJP candidate from Mormugao for the Lok Sabha elections.
” This is a very important function because women play a very important role in every work. We have seen a lot of contributions from women in different aspects of life and they also play a very important role as far as elections are concerned. Looking at such an impressive crowd I can reassure that the BJP candidate from South Goa will get maximum lead from Mormugao constituency. I want to reiterate again that 80% of the voting caste in Mormugao constituency will be for the BJP candidate from South Goa in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” said Amonkar.
Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade congratulated the Jai Tara Nari foundation for organising a very impressive and a massive international Women’s Day on a grand scale.
“There are different functions and programs organised for the women today and this program is an example of women empowerment which is also a priority of the BJP government laid by prime Minister Narendra Modi.” Said Tanavade.
Minister Subhash Shirodkar appreciated Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar and his wife Councillor Shraddha Amonkar for organising the program in a grand scale
