Guardian Angel SC blank Rozmen Cruz Nagoa Verna 3-0 to enter the quarter-finals of the 15th Davorlim Cup org by Sporting Club Davorlim and played at Davorlim Panchayat ground on Sunday
In an exciting quarter-final, Rozmen Cruz Nagoa Verna had the first opportunity to take the lead but Clive Fernandes missed the header in the 14th minute of play while Norman Dias of Guardian Angel ran down and took a powerful shoot from the box which crashed into the net in the 24th minutes of play.
Half-time Guardian Angel leading by 1-0
In the second session, Rozmen Cruz tried hard through their strikers Roydon, Clifton and Noel but couldn’t break the defence Guardian Angel was too strong and Norain Dias scored another two goals in the 44th and 56th minutes of play to complete his Hatric.
