PANJIM: Goa registered the highest single day spike with 258 cases on Monday. While also witnessing another Covid death taking the toll to 36. 133 patients also recovered on Monday.
As per the Health bulletin, there are 5119 confirmed cases with 3410 recoveries. As on date the active cases are now 1673.
The bulletin further says that 58 year old one male from New Vaddem, Vasco, who was admitted at ESI Hospital Margao woth co-morbid condition, expired today.
Out of the 8249 samples tested, 1875 are negative, 258 are positive – 6116 reports awaited.
At present the patients in isolation wards are 30 and 131 people are quarantineed at various residences/hotels.
